FEATHERS AND FLORA
This 45" sampler has four 16” blocks featuring some favorite birds and plants that give them a seasonal setting. The Hummingbird hovers near his favorite honeysuckle vine. The two Cardinals perch upon Pine with touches of Holly Berries nearby. The Goldfinch attends to the nesting Female in a Viburnum. Two Bluebirds relax on the branches of a Cherry Tree loaded with blossoms. All of them are made using the fusible appliqué technique (also called raw edged piecing). All blocks, appliqué and piecing are included in this one pattern.
